NAME

uptime – show how long system has been up

SYNOPSIS

uptime

DESCRIPTION

uptime prints the current time, the length of time the system has been up, and the total number of NFS, CIFS, and HTTP operations the system has performed since it was last booted.

The filer runs uptime automatically once an hour and automatically logs its output to /etc/messages.

EXAMPLE

  toaster> uptime     2:58pm up  7 days,  19:16 795217260 NFS ops,  1017333 CIFS ops,  1639 HTTP ops,  0 FCP ops,  0 iSCSI ops 

CLUSTER CONSIDERATIONS

In partner mode, the uptime command displays how long the failed filer has been down and the host name of the live filer.
